Geet Ganga

हिन्दु हिन्दु एक रहे भेद भाव को नही सहे
संघर्षो से दुखी जगत को मानवता की शिक्षा दे ॥धृ॥

एक ब्रह्म कुछ और नही हरिहर दुर्गा मात वही
देव देविया रूप उसीका देश काल अनुसार सही
सब पन्थों का मान करे सब ग्रंथो से ग्यान गहे
सदगुरुओं की सीख समझकर जीवन को जीना सीखे ॥१॥

जो भाई भटके बिछडे हाथ पकड ले साथ चले
भोजन कपडा घर की सुविधा शिक्षा सबको सुलभ रहे
उंच-नीच लवलेश न हो छुवा-छूत अवशेष न हो
एक लहू सब की नस-नस मे अपनेपन की रीत गहे ॥२॥

धर्म प्रेम अमृत पीये गीता गंगा गौ पूजे
वेद विहीत जीवन रचना हो राम कृष्ण शिव भक्ति करे
धर्म सनातन अनुगामी बुद्धम्-शरणम्-गच्छामि
अर्हंतोंको नमन करे नित वाहे गुरु अकाल कहे ॥३॥

English Transliteration:
hindu hindu eka rahe bheda bhāva ko nahī sahe
saṁgharṣo se dukhī jagata ko mānavatā kī śikṣā de ||dhṛ||

eka brahma kucha aura nahī harihara durgā māta vahī
deva deviyā rūpa usīkā deśa kāla anusāra sahī
saba panthoṁ kā māna kare saba graṁtho se gyāna gahe
sadaguruoṁ kī sīkha samajhakara jīvana ko jīnā sīkhe ||1||

jo bhāī bhaṭake bichaḍe hātha pakaḍa le sātha cale
bhojana kapaḍā ghara kī suvidhā śikṣā sabako sulabha rahe
uṁca-nīca lavaleśa na ho chuvā-chūta avaśeṣa na ho
eka lahū saba kī nasa-nasa me apanepana kī rīta gahe ||2||

dharma prema amṛta pīye gītā gaṁgā gau pūje
veda vihīta jīvana racanā ho rāma kṛṣṇa śiva bhakti kare
dharma sanātana anugāmī buddham-śaraṇam-gacchāmi
arhaṁtoṁko namana kare nita vāhe guru akāla kahe ||3||

Meaning
Let all Hindus unite! Let there be no divisions among Hindus. Let Hindus set an example of human brotherhood to the world afflicted by sorrow.

There is only one all-pervading Reality and nothing else. Vishnu or Shiva or Durga are all the same. Various manifestations of Devas and Devis are as suited to different lands and times. Let us respect all teachings and receive knowledge from all scriptures. By understanding the teachings of saints and sages let us learn to lead a good life.

Let us give a hand to our brethren who have gone astray or are lost. Let us ensure that everyone gets food, clothing, shelter and good education. Let there be no distinctions as high and low, nor there be a trace of untouchability. We all are one, the same blood flows through our veins. Let us follow the path of Human Brotherhood.

Let us drink the nectar of love for Dharma. Geeta, Gangaa and Cow are our common symbols of worship. Let our lives be in tune with that prescribed in the Vedas. May it be devotion for Ram, Krishna and Shiva through Sanatan Dharma, or the surrender to Buddha, or reverence of Jains to Arhant, or of Sikhs to the Gurus and Akaal Purush.
